I am of the opinion that Bill is, better glass = better pictures.
Last year at the Grand Canyon, I saw a girl with a high-end Gitzo tripod, 5D body, and some crappy consumer level zoom lens on the front. Honestly, I almost pushed her over the edge. -Bill Wadman
Really I could not agree more!
Last year I picked up the Nikon 85mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8. Both are beautiful lenses full of Bokah and sharp as a tack. I snagged them both for about $500. I have to admit, its probably that best two purchases I have made.
