It wasn’t a particularly good day for photography. We managed to get to our location some time around noon. I felt rather irritated that these sunny Arizona skies had again been persistent in ruining my hikes. But afterword looking through the images I captured that day I found something appealing about this. So in my best effort I took a seemingly bland photo and turned into something that, at the very least, causes you take take minute to figure out what exactly it is.

Well I am back. I took a bit of a break from the blogosphere when the hosting company that held the last iteration of LITVF went out of business. I was unhappy with the way the blog was going. Let’s face it there are a million and a half blogs on the Internet and frankly there are a million minus one photo-news blogs. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. I lacked the ambition the report on photography related new with a vision that has not been seen. There are other places that accomplish this better and I had no place competing with them.
The point of a blog is to provide something unique and with the old LITVF that’s precisely what I lacked. Now, hopefully with the new version of the sight I can provide something a little more my to my taste and ideally yours as well. I am not going to state that I will never post any news items, because that would be a lie. I am an gear geek and I love talking about it, but this will not be the main focus of the sight from now on. I have decided that in order for me to be unique like I want that the best way to provide that is through my own photos and my own vision. I would still love to have others guest blog on here much the same as I had on the old LITVF but this will be more a personal site focused on personal stories and images. Set aside from my website that I have going for my professional photography which is in a transitional stage as well.
So with that Life In The Viewfinder has been reborn into something new and hopefully something better. I have many images that need to be edited and will probably be posted on here so I hope you’re looking forward to it as much as I am.
